U cant love without giving. It's either u gave your heart away and get back his/hers or u can completely lost urself. 
Keeping a distance within both party is safer and yet u wont get any true love in return and has been destined to be alone. 


The one who is waiting is very particular of the time.
Way too sensitive compared to others. 


So, do not ask others and waste others time by asking them to wait endlessly. Fore and most importantly, this shows how selfish u are because u make them look numb, stupid and silly.
