Attended a speech or a talk from previous HELP students. It's simple and yet inspiring enough to point me out that there is so many things that I can do to contribute to the society despite just being a law degree student.
It abolished the notion that I used to had before this. Isn't it normal to be thinking in that way as we are just merely a student or pupil who are chambering, still. Apparently, there are very very few things that we are capable of. So let's not mention about bringing a change to society or any movement of moving our current society to a better society. So why not kicking start of doing something or being activism bit by bit? :)
They have pointed me that being a lawyer can really help the society, good lawyer does in fact exist. They are not only involve with the public interest litigation which always described as the sexy work, they also get involved in social activity or charitable activity etc.
I had noticed that most of the malaysians had been indoctrinated by our culture and tradition that there is nothing we can do to fix the current system unless we are political parties. But certainly this is not the case as always. There is still, so many ways that we can do, at least to
create awareness among the citizens in the society.
